Weighted grade = (coursework × 0.40) + (exam × 0.60). To pass you need BOTH a weighted grade ≥ 4.00 AND a final exam ≥ 4 — a sub-4 exam fails the course no matter how high the coursework. How UBA XXI Grades Work

UBA XXI (Universidad de Buenos Aires's distance-learning program) uses a fixed 40/60 weighted average to compute the final course grade:

Final Grade = (Coursework Average × 0.40) + (Final Exam × 0.60)

Both inputs use Argentina's standard 1–10 integer scale. To pass, both conditions must be true:

1. Final Grade ≥ 4.00
2. Final Exam score ≥ 4 (an independent floor — no amount of coursework compensates for a sub-4 exam)
